The Best $10 I Ever Spent

As I am writing this I am feeling very jealous of all those people who were able to attend Coachella.  I hope everyone had an amazing time and I am definitely going next year.  But, while everyone there was basking in the desert heat, I was desperately trying to will away the hot summer by breaking out the new coat I just bought!

During my adventure in San Francisco a couple of weekends ago, I found the most amazing faux fur coat at Nordstrom Rack for just $10 and snagged it right away!  The camel color and cut are very classic and I know I will be wearing this coat for many seasons to come.  I paired it with my favorite chambray shirt and my very dangerous Sam Edelman booties.

Miette in San Francisco

I was in San Francisco this past weekend and had the opportunity to visit the most charming bakery ever.  Miette oozes of Parisian charm and not to mention their lavish array of international chocolates and baked goods.  I felt transported momentarily to the streets of Paris as my eyes feasted on the beautiful interiors and colorful display.  Now feast yours:

Parka Please

I’m getting ready to head out to San Francisco this weekend to visit a few very much missed friends.  I can’t wait to spend time with them and do all the cheesy touristy stuff!  It will be refreshing to get out-of-town for a few days.

The bay weather should be cool and windy as usual, which makes me wish I had this parka right now to fend against the chilly weather.  I’ve been pretty obsessed with it for the past few weeks and maybe someone very sweet (named Nick) will buy it for me.  It’s so versatile and the perfect combination of military-chic.  I love it!  Until then, I’ll just keep drooling…

Fashion & Fairytales

It’s probably the romantic in me, but I’ve always loved reading fairy tales as a child.  I loved the fantasy of a beautiful princess and her prince, the obstacles they must overcome to finally be together and live happily ever after…a fantasy, nonetheless.
