Hess Hoen

HH 2
Remember when I said I was in love this house?  Well…I’m sorry, but I found a new love.  Not that I still don’t love the other house, I think I just love this one a little bit more.  This home, brilliantly designed by design firm Hess Hoen is housed in Sydney, Australia and it is divine.  It’s bright and airy with tons of large windows (which I love) and is my new dream home.  Enjoy.

Man-Pad

LivingroomThere’s nothing more attractive than a man with style and good taste.  Case in point, fashion designer Stefano Pilati.  His Paris apartment reeks of sophisticated and eclectic taste.  No cliché black leather furniture and red decor that you might find in other man-pads.  Nope, just mature, exceptional design here.  Can I please live there too?!  Wait til you see the shower!

It's Complicated

Actually, it’s not really that complicated.  It’s simple.  I am in love with the home in the film “It’s Complicated.”  From the first time I saw the film I’ve been enamored with the home.  And since I moved into my apartment, I’ve been cheating on fashion with furniture and interiors 🙂

Even if you’re not a fan of romantic comedies, you should still see the movie because Meryl Streep’s character, Jane, lives in my dream home.  It’s a 1920’s Spanish-style ranch in Santa Barbara, California and the perfect combination of rustic and modern.  I just love the exposed wooden beams, the gorgeous courtyard and garden.  The kitchen is probably my favorite room in the entire home and the bathroom isn’t too shabby either. Although I really enjoy the movie, all I could think about afterwards was this amazing house.

Jane’s bakery is amazing as well, but that’s a whole other post 🙂

What’s your favorite movie home?
